For my husband's birthday we wanted to celebrate with my in-laws in Gorizia (the beautiful city where they reside) and we're back in a nice farm near the city.
They had already taken it once and, mindful of good food, we decided to come back to sensible choice, we liked the genuine and abundant. It is
Doberdò of the lake, near the church in this small village; the place is rustic and charming with wooden walls and the staff very friendly. After an appetizer
abundant (but everything in this room is plentiful ...) of cold cuts and cheeses they produce, we ordered two of the first tris (gnocchi with goulash, a pie with meat sauce and homemade pasta with cheese and spinach ), a pie with meat sauce and a jota (vegetables, cabbage and beans typical of the place). Then for the second 2 servings of grilled sausages, 1 cevapcici and a huge (700 / 800 g) rump steak grilled, pan-cooked with potatoes and spinach, whole meal was accomapgnato by an excellent red wine of their production. At the end we finished with creamy desserts, coffee and brandy ... what is known as a park lunch ... what else to add: we strongly recommend to all and certainly we will be back!
