The New York Stock Exchange and The Tokyo Stock Exchange say they are in the finishing straight in negotiations to create a strategic alliance that would see confirmation at the end of this month. After the merger of NYSE Group with Euronext, which will be finalized by March, and the acquisition of a 25% stake in Bombay Stock Exchange, the realization of the global market is now closer.
